Suddenly, I had more variety on my plate than ever before—who would have thought!? Okay, I admit, giving up cheese was tough, especially my beloved Parmesan, but hey, there's an alternative for everything!</image:title>
      <image:caption>I quickly noticed the benefits of this diet: I had more energy, my skin cleared up, I recovered faster, woke up alert and focused, had no more body odor, lost unnecessary body fat, and continued to build muscle. It sounds almost too good to be true, but all the scientific studies I have read confirmed these effects. I felt so good that I never ended the “challenge” and have been living vegan ever since. I don't miss anything because I've discovered so many delicious new foods that never feel heavy in my stomach and have even convinced all my non-vegan friends. One of the biggest changes? I stopped getting sick! The first year went by, then another, and another, and at some point, I looked back and thought, "Wait, when was the last time I was sick? I used to be sick all the time!"</image:caption>

Im April 2017 legte ich los mit der pflanzlichen Kost und mir hat es viel Spaß gemacht, diese neue kulinarische Welt zu erkunden und plötzlich mehr Abwechslung auf meinem Teller zu haben als jemals zuvor, wer hätte das gedacht!? Okay, zugegeben, auf Käse zu verzichten fiel mir schon sehr schwer, vor allem mein geliebter Parmesan, aber hey, es gibt für alles eine Alternative!</image:title>
      <image:caption>Die Vorteile dieser Ernährung spürte ich ziemlich schnell: Ich hatte mehr Energie, meine Haut wurde reiner, ich regenerierte schneller, bin hellwach und fokussiert aufgewacht, hatte keinen Körpergeruch mehr, habe nochmal unnötiges Körperfett verloren und konnte weiter Muskeln aufbauen. Klingt fast zu schön um wahr zu sein, aber all die wissenschaftlichen Studien die ich vorher gelesen hatte bestätigen diese Effekte. Tatsächlich fühlte ich mich so gut, dass ich die “Challenge” niemals beendet habe und bis heute vegan Lebe. Vermissen tue ich nichts, dafür habe ich viel zu viele leckere neue Sachen entdeckt, die niemals schwer im Magen liegen und bisher auch jeden meiner nicht veganen Freunde überzeugen konnten. Eine der größten Veränderungen? Ich bin nicht mehr krank geworden! Das erste Jahr verging, dann noch eins und noch eins und irgendwann blickte ich zurück und dachte mir “Hä, wann war ich eigentlich das letzte mal krank? Früher war ich doch immer krank!”.</image:caption>

Wirklich Bock hatte ich nicht auf Fleisch zu verzichten, denn ich habe es ja sehr genossen. Aber neugierig war ich auch und ich liebe Herausforderungen. Also: “Challenge accepted!”</image:title>

Ich arbeitete mich immer weiter in das Thema Ernährung ein, wusste mittlerweile wie man gute Info-Quellen findet und die erste Skepsis kam in mir auf, ob so viele tierische Produkte wirklich gut für mich sind. Schließlich war ich ja immer auf der Suche nach der besten Ernährung für meine sportliche Performance. Ich las mich immer mehr in die Vorteile pflanzlicher Ernährung ein und wurde so neugierig, dass ich mich schließlich selbst herausforderte einen veganen Monat zu machen. Aber vorher hab ich mir nochmal ein ordentliches T-Bone-Steak gegönnt</image:caption>
